The Our Watch Institute is part of Our Watch , Australia’s national leader in preventing violence against women and children. With over a decade of experience and a globally recognised evidence base, we partner with businesses to embed gender equality into workplace culture.
We work to create safer, more respectful environments that contribute to lasting change. Our approach is grounded in evidence, combines deep expertise in primary prevention, and a commitment to genuine partnering.
Meet our team
Cara Gleeson
Cara has nearly 15 years’ experience leading preventing violence against women, gender equality and women’s rights initiatives in Australia and internationally.
As the Director of the Our Watch Institute, Cara oversees our specialist teams to support and inspire workplaces to end violence against women.
She is a creative, pragmatic and optimistic change leader with extensive experience including several non-executive director and advisory roles.
Meet our team
Sharon Pask
Sharon is an experienced CFO, board member and expert in diversity, inclusion and change management.
Sharon was the first woman member of the Victorian Automotive Chamber of Commerce Executive Board after decades of experience in the automotive industry.
She is a commercially astute leader and has produced significant financial growth for businesses by championing inclusion and gender equality in typically male-dominated industries.
